Lets start with an introdution, my name is Jonathan and im 22years old. I have been lurking around here for years but never created and account untill a few months ago. And the reason im starting this thread is beacuse a lot of other swede's posts ther cars here and you guys seem to appriciate it. And the story of the Chevy starts in 2011. My old 56 Ford customline was soled and the car hunting began. Ive always dreamed about a chopped 40's coupe in early 50s style but i didnt have the skills to chop a car myself so first i was looking at a Olds 59 2dht but the car was rearended so bad i didnt want to buy it. At this time i was talking to this girl and her boyfriend was going to sell his all stock 48 chevy, no rust, runs perfect, new interior, new 12v electrical system and so on. This guy didnt like me at all cause he was jealus of hes girlfriend talking to other guys and stuff.. But i called him and he needed to sell the chevy. me, my father and niklas went to look at the car and i really wanted to buy it. Later that night Niklas called and said "if you buy the chevy i will help you chop it" i called the guy and said it was a deal and i picked it up the next day. Here it is, the day i bought it. The first summer we just shaved the doors, trunk, hood and lowered it. then the fall came and it was time to chop that matching number coupe up. And after the winter the chopp was done and i could kruise my own chopped 40's coupe. Right now im putting this 350/th400 and a newer chevy axel in it. I can upload som fresh pics later. Hope you enjoy this thread so far and ill post more later on. Oh and this girl i was talking with the prev. owner of the chevy has been my girlfriend 1,5 year now.. Guess she came with the car
