Any vintage bus experts? Or Wayne commercial bodies?

Anybody seen a tag like this? What was it on and can the serial number tell us anything?

This medalion is inside my Diamond T. I don't know if Wayne did this, or if someone just robbed it off an old school bus to plug a hole? My other Diamond T pickups have a rubber plug in this hole, which would have been the gas filler when a similar cab was used on a larger truck. This truck has the hole leaded in. This is not factory, but may have been done by a commercial upfitter. Did Wayne ever own such an upfitter in Salt Lake City where this truck was upfitted?

I have no idea, but I think that looks really cool. I don't know why I like it, but I do.

Got one in my ambulance. It's rectangular, though.

    Doesn't belong in your truck.
