Im installing a pertronix ignitor into my 235, replacing the old point system, anyone know what the points gap is? And also since I have converted to 12 volt and the ignitor is 12 volt, can I get rid of the ballast resistor between the coil and distributor? any help is appreciated thanks

points should be removed with the pertronix, and yes you still need the ballast...
you might get more info on the main board

I kept the ballast, and the gap for an ignitor system is the little piece of plastic include in your kit. You can gap the plugs up to .010 larger than stock (.035" i think?)
