About a month ago was my last day at the speed shop.

I still am torn about it. I have so much love for that place and everyone involved, but it was time to go. It was an amazing opportunity and making the most of it was a pretty crazy ride! I've made some really great friends and we even built some neat cars. I gave it my all, but it just hasn't felt right for a while.

I miss my Home. Austin is a pretty cool place, I've made good friends, some of who are my best friends, but its never been home. I thought it was worth it to chase my crazy dreams and learn as much as I can, but I'm not so sure anymore....... Its time to go HOME.

The biggest thing is Bobby Joe..... I just feel like he needs to be close to Family, he needs to know my dad! He is the best thing that ever happened to me..... crazy that he is a Texan.... Apple of my eye!

I'd like to thank everyone who has supported me, especially everyone at the shop. I really want the best for everyone involved. We had some pretty fun times! Its hard to write this.... So much of my soul in that building.

My plan is to start a new shop in WI at my dads place. I have some pretty crazy ideas and am super excited for the future! I feel like that place is pulling my back like a magnet. I have fought it, but its time to embrace it! Things are about to get really awesome!

There are some great people who have my back, and I can't wait to make them proud. There is a lot to do, but I feel so unleashed. I'm ready for it....... super inspired!

Basically, I just want to build kick ass Hot Rods. So I am moving home to test the American Dream..... I have been chasing my dreams for a long time, but I think I finally caught one!

I have been laying low, working in the garage at home.... its been really great! I will have a little booth at the Round up , so if you are in town Please stop and see me, I'm selling some shirts.... hopefully I'll raise some money to help move all my crap back to WI!

So anyway, thanks. I am really going to miss my Austin Family..... especially the nerds in my band..... Mark Ford and John Speck... We are playing athe Continental Friday!

Speaking of the Continental I really want to say thanks to Steve for all the support he has given me the last few years. Austin is Austin because of him.... it really is. He has made this place!

Most of all I need to thank my wife Laura..... I brought us here so we could have a shot at a better life, now Ive realized that as long as we are together, we've got it made!

Please stay tuned, I am going to rule some shit. I promise.

Bob I'm glad you came here and did what you did. You ruled it while you were here and I'm proud to call you and Laura friends. We're gonna miss you guys but there's some amazing shit in store for you and you're right to GO FOR IT! Thanks for everything man. You definitely have been an inspiration in my life, not just hot rods I think you know what I'm talking about. Anyway, go build some awesome shit and finish that 3 window cause you're gonna need a hot rod to drive and that roadster belongs to Little Bobby!

Kids are the meaning of life. Everything else is a just for fun. It will be awesone being close to home. It's tough not having the GP's around when you've got little ones.

That's a good looking little dude.

best of luck , i think sometimes life will take you away from family and home just so you can see how important those things are.. and giving your boy a chance to know and be close to your dad is priceless for both of them!

BB I'm gonna miss you. There so many people that move to this town every freakin day. Its really tough on us that have been here forever......but every once in a while some one super cool that really contributes to the city moves here and you & your family, pal were one of those people. I'd ship a thousand out to keep one like you. One of the highlights of you and Laura living here was having your dad hang out here so much. He was a highlight for me. Totally understand why you would wanna get back to him. Don't know what to say, but there will be a void left when you leave. Now let's rock it on Friday night. Can't wait. Peace out brother.

Every job is a learning experience and I bet you are taking a lot of what to do and what not to do with you from this last one. In the end a person has to be happy and it sounds like being near family will give you that and more.

Best of luck in the new setting. :)
