hotels are expensive close to the track...the further away the cheaper they get....guy in the space next to us stays in the back of his truck all weekend, because they have showers right at the track at the edge of the green field

A good many vendors camp on their space. In the back of the truck or on the ground. Charlotte Motor Speedway has good rest rooms and showers ... for the vendors use.

I have stayed at the Day's Inn @ Billy Graham Parkway. Clean, resonable and not too far away down I-85.

If you really want to sell ... price your stuff accordingly. A lot of the parts and junk @ the swap meet has more miles on it going back and forth to swap meets than it ever did installed on a vehicle. :(

  6. I usually bring a tent and set it up on my space.

Beware of rubber snakes in the free water coolers.

In the past when I've attended GoodGuys Southeastern Nationals in October or races at the speedway, Huntersville has a few nice places and it's easy to get to the track without getting on in the traffic on the Interstate. Good Luck.
