Here's some more, let me know if this doesn't work for someone else, but it should. They are big and there is about 20 so I figured I would spare anyone left on dialup from a night of frustration. There is a pic of the Poison Ivy car, a couple of the road burners are in here, a sweet Caddy powered trad., the 61 BelAire is a lurker on the board from Ottawa (check out the closeup of the stripes on the tail) a 55 from lil' mike's family shop and a bunch more. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010086.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010090.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010085.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010082.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010079.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010099.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010098.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010100.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010109.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/IMG_2081.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010093.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010063.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010067.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010050.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010049.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010033.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/P1010023.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/IMG_2095.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/IMG_2094.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b168/johnboyrox/kck/hamb/IMG_2092.jpg
GreedGuys ****, but they draw a ****load of cool rides, I had a good time got to meet some Hambers, (Mootz & Knuckles) nice guys and a Killer pickup Mootz. Here some pics, I didnt take alot but heres what I got........RP
Yeah, that modified was one of the coolest rides there! Too many high-dollar gl*** cars. Here's one I saw, just after I bought a grillshell for $40!~
Well I had a great time, got hang with some old friends and meet new ones. The '55 Chevy that we built got Meguair's pick and my grandparent's Camaro got one of the Boyd's Pick. This made the ride home easier, I could care less about the trophys but the car owners do and I had to ride home w/ them, see my point! Besides all the chicks look at ya when you ride through the winner deal in a cool car! Hahaha! Had a good time and got tot spend time with my grandpa, all is well That '55 we built like 7 years ago, It's held up pretty good for a show car. Yes he does drive it some to the local cruize-ins.
It was my first time in KC and my first Good Guys show in 14 years. I went as a spectator and I could not belive how far you had to walk , but it was worth it. I was shocked with the low turnout of Kustom, but a lot of other kool stuff running around. I love walking through Power alley and try to get some new ideas. Didn't see to many HAMBers but I had the oppotunity to talk to Lil Mike. Your Grand Dads Camaro is way too Kool. ( Checkout the pic.) Also this 57 Chevy looked like and Old '60's Kustom I took some pics to try to fing the history on the car. It wasn't wearing wide whites but I could see it in my mind. Good Luck Mike, and have a good time. Happy Trails, Mick
the 57 is an old custom fell off the transport and crushed the *** end so it was made into a custom from there . Originally an Omaha car saw a lot of time on the 60's show circuit and was in several magazines after bouncing around the country it ended up back home here in Omaha where it was returned to the state as you see it here.
Hi ya Chris and Sleds, missed ya guys out there. I used to work with the guy whos dad built and owned that copper roadster. I believe it belonged to Ray Boyles (?). story is it was a circle track car in the early 50's and ran localy before the show circuit redo. He had 2 sons fighting over it so decided to just sell it and avoid the family struggle. Its an amazing car to look at up close.
Thanks for the pics. I've never been to a GG event in my life. By looking at your "only the good stuff" pics I can only ***ume that most of the shiny paint cars are billet retro rods? And most of the "good stuff" I see is in primer or patina. Well, doesn't seem like I'd ever want to attend a GG event then.
