How many unchopped Model a's left?

I dont think Im gona chop mine. kinda like the way it looks and its hard to go back.

There are lots of them. The low production year of 626,579 in 1931,must have been due to trickle down of the 1929 crash. I think there are more unchopped than chopped

I have two that are not chopped and will not be while I have them. A 29 pickup truck and a 30 tudor sedan. Not a fan of chopping myself.

 

I think there's nothing better looking than a 4 inch chop on a 30-31 coupe. But being a tall guy I can appreciate the extra room to be able to see where you're going.

Model As of various configurations built during the four year run. Remember they were also built in countries other than the U.S.

 

I think HRP's numbers are pretty damn close...

 

I have a 31 coupe that is bone stock.
I also have a 32 that is unchopped, butchered somewhat but not chopped.

 

All of these people on here talking about how As are so plentiful, and I've hardly ever seen one that wasn't at a big car show.

Funny how different areas have different antique vehicles around.

Probably a =WHOLE= lot more unchopped originals, than chopped ones would be my guess.....

 

It will be a long time before unchopped Model As are uncommon. While it would be nice to see some stock examples survive, a Model A is hot rod fodder.

 

My FF 29 Tudor is unchopped, but I like the looks of both styles. I too think there's lots of unchopped ones around.

I have an un-chopped model AA. Unfortunately it was parked under a tree for 35 years so the leaves composted their way through the roof and then the floor.

Sparks: I like the look of your A. I run a Buick V6 so all appears to be the same as yours. Congrats, Wayne.

 

I love the looks of a chopped A but driving one is torture. They`re hard enough to see out of stock so mine won`t get the axe as long as I own it.

 

Mine is unchopped and I like it that way ! Makes driving it easier.

 

Here in the next ten years. There are going to be a **** load of a's showing up. Guys my grandfathers age that allways had a big stash of cars will p*** away. I know where three pretty big stashes of cars are and all have a ton of a's. And all will be for sale probably within the next ten years. So there are probably a lot more unchopped than chopped.
