    Thanks,
Seemed a shame to let a big flat spot like that go to waste.

Here's a good angle showing the fan clearance. Just! Looking for a Ford crab style and 2 bolt cover. Hint, Hint. Nudge, Nudge.

    Something about a rolling chassis...

I like the center crossmember braces (from trans k member to the front of the rear fender mounting holes). Who makes them? does the master cylinder bracket to convert to hyd brakes come pre-welded to them or is it an extra piece?

Stopped in yesterday to drop off the doors, seat and distributor. Body is mounted to the frame and rock solid. Needs a little shimming to set the doors, but should have minimal body/frame gap.

I shimmed the body to fit the doors & it looks great , I'll post pix later ,this is going to be a way cool AV8.With the correct disi we can fit the mechanical fan too , all is good.I also made a spacer for the 40 column in the Model A drop so that's tight now too .

Fired the engine for the first time yesterday. Sounded sweet. Smelled even sweeter!

Nothing like hearing your flathead come to life for the first time. Sounds good! You need some stainless radiator hoses to match those pretty Navarro heads...

Got the brake lines installed and bled today, so there was no reason not to take it around the block for the first time.

Replaced the radiator with one about 1 1/2" shorter, which let me drop the radiator shell down enough to get the hood line where I'm happy with it. Also replaced the commercial grill with an original passenger car grill. Since then I've been putting some miles on it. Played around this evening getting a hood formed.

Got the car back from Ron Mangus today. Man, what a treat. I can't describe how nice it is to have a seat custom fitted to you. I'm 6'2" and have plenty of leg room. Comfortable too.
