Cool car........maybe some subtle pinstriping, and some different hubcaps. Nothing to radical and 2-3 inches lowered.

They make dropped spindles for that subframe. Keeping the full coil/shock length will be smoother ride, 2"+ lower. The rear coils come in 3-6" drop from some of the Truck site's. The color combo demands restraint. Elegant mild custom. Astro Supreme type wheels, thin white wall tire's. Someday dress the engine '60's style (if period perfect is what you seek) Chrome reverse wheels a close second.

Yea no skirts! Wide whites and lowering is a must. Other than that she looks good like it is. Hope to see it this summer cruzin around here.

I love the 57 Buicks, I had one very similar a few nyears back, black and white like yours, but mine was not pillarless.

One of the things that made the Buicks stand out back then was the radiused rear wheelwells, so just to add to the chorus: no Skirts!

You don't really need to do anything much to it to make it stand out, it's a great looking car as it is.

Fastlane - was going through one of the Buick threads, and ran across this. Although I am a pro "no skirts" guy, this one does work well, again, if you are going to go down in the weeds with it. Just wanted to share, as this is one of the best examples with skirts I have seen. Not sure who owns it though...

I finished up buffing the car and clay barred it. Cleaned up the interior and polished all the chrome inside the car. Some minor chrome polishing left and get the old girl on the road.
