Anyone know how the fitment is of the United Pacific 5w deck lid and the panel below the deck lid (the panel where the taillights /license plate go)? former owner reskinned the trunk lid and had a replacement lower panel installed years ago and the fit/install was poor. Good fitting , new parts hopefully will make my bodyman's life easier

I have probably sold about a hundred of them since they became available and I have had nothing but great responses from all of my customers. Give me a call if you need one- I've got 'em in stock!

You may want to check your car for squareness. Many of these are off square from an old fender bender. It doesn't take much. Might not be the trunk at all.

What you may not realize about the United Pacific part is that there is really nothing else to compare it to. Not only did they match the contours and reveals of the originals (for the 1st time) but it's much more than a repair panel or skin. It's the whole assembly with the outer skin attached to the inner structure including the floor pan extension and brace making it the piece you want to align your car to instead of the other way around.
I used one on my original body and in my opinion it's a work of art.

Oh and the deck lid looks every bit as good too but I don't think they are ready to ship just yet.
