Question to all in the know...what should I expect to pay for a 4 door Shoebox Ford ('49-'52?) that is un-touched by our minds and loving sawzalls? I was thinking (not supposed to do that) what would one fetch? thanks - Doug
What kind of condition? Typically, I wouldn't pay more that 2 G for a decent runner of a 4 door. And you better drive it home for 2 G
I see solid parts cars on eBay and around, for $500 or less pretty regular. I dont know what the OCPG values are, but these are common enough that guys ***** about rust even on the rare body styles to the point I tell a lot of them to put it where the sun doesn't shine.
Prices vary greatly by body style, in this ascending order: 4-door 2-door coupe Victoria Convert Woody While it's true that you should be able to find a fordor for a coupla grand, even a ratty convert or woody will be $20K and up.
dont waste your money, if you want a 2 door i can get you one here. they are all over the place in arizona. for the same price you will probably pay for that 4 door
I'm selling mine if you're interested...$7500 OBO. I know this should be on the cl***ifieds, but I thought this was relevant.
