My new project... a 1955 Ford Gasser

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Kellys Hot Rod Parts, Apr 5, 2013.

  1. I recently bought this 55 ford sedan in southern Ill. a stone throw from the Mo. boarder. The previous owner said the car was an old drag car from Texas..So far some clues are a battery mount and old fuel line to the trunk. The car has a healthy sounding 390 fe and an automatic trans. It has a old diamond stitch white interior

  5. Please please please no I repeat no satin black!! Leave it the color it is now...kinda like the super stocks of the mid 60's.

Did I mention no satin black!

  6. And do not F with that interior....maybe silver flake the roof

  7. Why not leave it as it is and call it a Modified Production instead of a Gasser?Don't you think there is enough Gassers?NO SATIN BLACK!!:D

  8. I like the way your thinking. A rim and tire change would put ya there, along with some cut outs uncapped
