i think its the main seal thats gone but how much should i expect to pay to get it fixed. its a 55 special with the dynaflow n a 322 nailhead. i cant do the work myself i dont have the space or the time or the ability. and who do i get to work on the thing? im in sandiego
Find an old run down looking ****** shop that has some old dudes working in it... That's what I did the last time I needed a Dynaflow worked on... Went in and talked to the old dudes and they got a kick out of it. I remember them telling me how they haven't seen one of these things in 25 years...
It took me about four shops until I found one... You might want to ask on the Yahoo Nailhead list as well...or I can ask if you like... There may be someone in your area...
Heh. Yep. Took mine to a crusty old guy in south Phoenix. He was the first guy that didn't say... dyno-WHuT?
