Stumbled upon a fothcoming Estate Sale. Part of the tools that are for sale in an Austrian made Edelstaal mini-lathe.

I've always wanted a lathe, but are these mini-lathes too small for any real use or is it a nice tool to have and sit on a work bench. It is complete with cutters and other ***y. and I can get it for $50.

    Thanks

    Tim

Really, you can't buy many power tools for 50. If it will help you to learn something of interest, buy it. If you don't like it, send me a pm, I'll buy it. PM with any ?

    Get it.

    Consider it a learning tool.

Thanks. OK, that's what I thought. If it helps me learn a little more about how to work a lathe, it's worth it.

It will be too small for a lot of stuff, but that's ok.
