Hey Hey! Upholsterer here in Colorado Springs, CO. In trade, got a '49 Ford Tudor Sedan, waiting to be stripped. Excited, with many intentions, but we'll see how they all pan out. Getting it to start, drive, and stop are my priorities, obviously. This forum has been a wealth of information for these. If ANYONE in the area is interested in trading work to help ad the process of the build, PM me. I'd be more then willing. I got plenty interiors shots to show you... More to come. Thanks HAMB! *check out my Albums for Upholstery Work
Not sure if I am "in the area" or not. You only state, "Colorado"! A pretty BIG state. Anyway, welcome. Lots to learn and share here.
We may need to talk, I have 2 seats and 2 sunvisors i want s***ched up, but the denver people are insane on prices!
Mechanical. The flathead v8 that is in it now had 'supposedly' cranked, but its definitely going to need some work. Missing the radiator. I would like to keep it too. I'm on this forum searching the archives constantly, but you can only learn so much from reading a book, ya know? Definitely grateful for the ones that have customized and tweaked the traditional style of these cars, and DO***ENTED it. Saves a lot of f*cking up in the process. Cheers!
Where's your shop? I have a '47 Hudson that needs a headliner in it. Love to have you take a look at it.
Welcome from the Citadel mall area! I'm not a Flathead guru, but I'm sure I could help with something! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
