Great show as always had a blast.Drove my ride up there on Thursday night. It hadn't been driven regularly since about "1987". Got it moving just a couple of weeks ago literally, had some issues with the c4 got it straighten out and after spending the day looking over everything decided to give it a shot and we left Houston about 8:30 that night. I was pretty happy about making the drive, the only shakedown runs my car had been on were roughly a mile or two at a time and even that was at a minimum. But she ran solid for the whole trip. Not bad for a first time real shakedown run, 300 plus miles round trip.Had to add some brake fluid and trans fluid after leaving the show on Saturday but that was about it. I met some really cool people, one dude was from Baltimore-Karb Kings CC in a 57 wagon sorry about forgetting your name I'm bad with them but it was good talking to you. The poodle lounge was jumping on Saturday night but I left my camera at the motel so I didn't get any pics.I wanted to thank the Strugglers CC and Los Cochinos CC for providing a alternative spot to Congress Ave. The turnout was great and they did a good job. I'm already looking forward to next year and here are some of my pictures from the show....
Looks like it was a good one. Thanks for sharing all those sleds! Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
My ride is a 64,the 57 wagon belonged to someone I met at the show.He said it had a 327/4 speed in it, If I remember correctly. But yeah going drive it as much as possible now that it is running.
Thanks for posting your pictures, nothing wrong with early thirty's coupes and such. Nice to see something different......
