This bonus “HOT LAP” is a quick look at when, after 85 years, we reunited Ed Winfiled’s Model-T with the track it loved best - Legion Ascot. The full 8 minute episode will be included in the DVD coming this summer.

Just some of the tracks, cars and interviews to be included in the final 90+ minute DVD are:
Lions Drag with Mickey’s son Danny and 1st wife Judy walking down a 1/4 mile memory lane. The 1st three Ascots with Rick Rawlins and Ed Winfield’s Ford and some rare color footage of Southern Ascot. The Board Tracks, Los Angeles was home to the 1st, the best and the fastest with Land Speed Record holder Charles Nearburg and his 1926 front wheel drive Miller. At Gilmore Stadium Earl Gilmore’s grandson Hank is joined by Vic Edelbrock Jr. and the V8-60 that Roger Ward beat the Offy’s in. Wally Parks’ son Richard walks down the Pomona strip while talking about his father, the NHRA and dry lakes. Santa Monica & Corona Road Races with Eddie Pullen’s son Don, Brian Blain’s 1911 National and Gary Wales who takes a lap in his 1913 Fiat. Tom Malloy runs Rosie Rosel’s roadster along turn 4 of Carrell Speedway. Turkey Night with JC Agajanian Jr.

wheretheyraced.com is happy to share this bonus footage with Vic Edelbrock Jr. remembering his father and the family car which hit 122MPH out on the dry lakes. This is an outtake from the segment on Gilmore Stadium where Vic and Hank Hilty (Earl Gilmore's grandson) walk around the former track and talk about the famous V8-60, nito, Roger Ward and how they beat the Offy's.
