One of my favorite years for trucks. Keep at it.

Someone does make a headliner for 1935/1936 Ford trucks.

This is a fiberglass headliner fits real well and looks even better. I have gotten alot of interest in this. I am not sure who makes it. It was in the truck when I bought it. It is a part of a hole kit headliner and door panels and kick panels. check online. If I find out more I'll let you know.

Check with Dennis Carpenter Reproductions, he has headliners for 1940 Ford pickups, so I'm fairly sure he has them for the earlier trucks. NOS

    2 questions ??

When you mounted your radiator which holes in the frame did you mount to? The ones closer to the firewall or the ones away from the fire wall? there are two sets one is for trucks and one is for cars. I am trying to line up my grill and hood. Grill attaches to radiator.

Also did you make your trans cover or buy it?

Did you say the body/bed color was going to be yellow?

James, I`m one of those guys that can`t let a project sit after starting. It drives me crazy so that keeps me motivated just about every weekend.
I usually try to build something every year. Satin or unpainted projects go much quicker.

Fortynut, It`s my new shop truck so the doors get lettered and it`s done.

Jeff, I made a crossmember for the front radiator mount and used a `32 radiator. See pic. Good luck lining all that sheetmetal up. I gave up on the hood sides and I think they tend to make the truck look stubby when installed. At least they did on mine.
I fabbed the trans cover the other night. Used the bottle off my welder to roll the steel. Nice truck you have there.

Nice truck, and yes Bob Drake sells the headliner and it fits pretty nice, they are a little pricey but the shipping is a killer.

Got a few miles on her and so far no major issues so I had it lettered this weekend and it`s good to go.
Just say the company name really fast...:)

Truck came out looking real good. Do have a question regarding the hood hold down. How did you fasten it?

I still drool over this truck and reference your build details. Its bee a great help for my pickup build!

I'm in the middle of picking a rear end width. For your truck, you said you used 1.25" wheel spacers. Did you use 1.25" per wheel or a total spacer width of 1.25"? Your earlier post said you also used a 58" rear end, 4" wheel backspace, 7" rim, and 2.5" of spacers.. Does this sound correct?
