Anybody know where I can get decent quality heim joints (spherical rod ends)?

Preferably in the Dallas metro area, but I'll go with an online place if I hafta.

there's a bearing place that has them in stock off of Business 287 (Mansfield Hwy) The name of the place slips my mind at the moment, but it's a blue building on the South side of the Hwy just East of 820.

I second the Speedway Motors. They are a great company to buy from. Get your stuff fast too.

Hey Slide I dont like to say this but the best place to get any size and good gaulity is Smileys Racing off of Peach Tree Rd. In Mesquite. Or Sachse Rod Shop, Northern, or Tractor supply caries some but they are usually to big. I got mine for my pedals at Northern.

Thanks, yall!!! I tried a couple hardware stores here in Kaufman on my lunch break yesterday, and all they had were the super-big tractor stuff.

I'll run up to TSC in Terrell on my lunch to day and see what I can come up with. I only need a 5/16" x 5/16-24 female one.

D31- this is for my clutch pedal, so I'll definitely hit Northern if TSC in Terrell don't have it. TH350 is already on the garage floor... here comes the M20!!! Woohooo!!!

www.mcmaster.com has a great selection. they have them listed in stainless, and all kinds of diffrent styles. they also just carry the piviot ends if you need to make some wacky linkage.

Save your time and gas from going to tractor supply. They only have big ones. I got mine 5/16 at Northern in the go-kart section.

Nope. (But do I wish!!!) This means I'll be crawling around under my car this weekend. I was gonna ask about maybe riding down there with yall, but I have only 2 weekends and a couple evenings to get my car back on the road before my in-laws leave. (I'm driving Mrs. Slide's Explorer while my 52's up in the air, and her folks' meany van is her transportation in the meantime.) Besides, I had to order some parts for this deal, and they won't be here till too late.

Yall have fun down there! And take lotsa pics!!!!
