    HI all,
Anyone out there know the previous owner/builder of this car. I’m looking at buying it and would love to know some build info. From what I can see it came to Australia Via Fresno California. Hope you all can help.

  5. for cutting off the roof? not much... those things had some beefy frames. 51 merc has a 4 door merc with no roof and hes been driving it that way for 20 years with no problems.....

Kinda hard to say without seeing some pics of the build or looking closely at the car to see whats been done, but it looks like a finished car so it would prolly be hard to tell on the inside.....closing the door hard will give you a good idea, or jacking up one end and seeing if the door gaps change....

a friend of mine built this car years ago and sold it. it did start out as a 4 door and him and his wife built the top and did all the other work. but it wasnt finished when they sold it. do you possibly have better pics of it?

I guess the back window in that thing makes a nice portal to look at the stars while you're curled up with your honey on the back seat, not much for rear vision though.
