This is what he answered: I'm having technical difficulties uploading images but condition is good and perfect.
So tell him -- no need to upload to the hamb, attach it to an email and send it direct to me at kartsa@xxxx.com If he can't, forget him. But It does sound like a scammer.
Yah, if he can't attach a photo to a direct email, forget it. Even if he can, might be wise to forget it. Unless he'll take paypal or a credit card....
No, the OP was only suspecting the dude as a possible scammer. FNG's need to be totally up front when joining, and then posting $ deals. References are part of everyday life, why not here?
That happened to me too,i put an add to the classifieds and got 2 different emails from recently joined members who have zero posts. Looks like they(he/she) doesnt send pms,but emails if the hamber accepts emails from fellow hambers. I dont do any business with fresh fngs with zero posts,i think that should keep my money away from the scammers filthy fingers.
G'day, I advertised in the wanted section looking for a hood for my car. I got a response from England from a hamb person with no posts. So I told him I would have to see a picture of said hood before I went any further. Got a series of pictures of a gorgeous restored car that he was breaking up for parts. Only problem was the series of pictures belonged to a car sales place. Be careful with the newby/fake sellers. ms
with over 200,000 members, you can request that another hamber living nearby can stop by the guy's house to verify that he indeed has the part. if he isn't up to that, then yeah, he's a scammer
Silent Ric says it all....."my brother lives in town"....I'll have him drop by for a look and he'll pay you cash....hehee....
