Afriend of mine just picked up a.......Street Beast (yeah I said it) cabrolet. One simple question.... where can one find the rubber spacer that fits between the side gl*** and windshield frame. It looks to be about 1" to 1 1/4" thick. I don't need any flak, if ya have an idea, fine. If not, I've heard all the ****, over and over, and over again. Ain't tryin' to stir **** up just need an answer. I wouldn't be workin' on this thing other than the fact that I'm getting a nice set of rims & tires for a little labor. Thanx for any help. Norm
Norm, have you checked your local big box hardware stores,,look in the weather striping department. HRP
Do they make a weatherstrip that thick? This thing has to be a real block. Probably 1 1/2" by 1". ( oh yeah, happy birthday)
I've seen some pretty big chunks,,I would think they may use it in conjunction with window air conditioners. HRP

It's a pretty good bet Streetbeasts didn't make that part originally, but sourced it from some rubber vendor. If you don't have any luck here you might start googling rubber stripping or something similar and see what you can find. Don Here, I found this on line. I don't know who they are but they seem to be involved with Streetbeast cars. http://onlinefwd.com/?dn=streetbeasts.com&pid=1PO8G3V7O Click on that X to make the first box go away, then you will see "Streetbeasts" in the upper right hand corner. Click on that. Here is a phone number they list: To contact us, please call 1.800.245.1310.
I agree with it being a readily available hardware store, or weatherstrip supplier part. I had the chance a long time ago, to work on a Bradley GT (kit car). Almost all of the parts were commonly available. The hinges for the doors were large cabinet or gate hinges!
