    At least the cars became new Detroit Iron back then. Not new H.F. **** and Kias!

    It's sad to see, but the truth is... this is what happened to virtually every single one of the cars that we're into.

    With rare exceptions (Eldorado Brougham, Duesenbergs, Lincoln Continental Mark 2s) what's the survival rate of pre-64 stuff? At BEST 5%?

    That's hard to watch. When I was a kid, I saw a lot of nice old cars get s****ped that way. Sad.

    What got me is that none of those seemed to have any rustout on them. Sure would be a dream to find stuff that solid anymore now.
