Whoa, cool f'n site! ,The Old Motor.com. I guess I just woke up to something most hambers knew about (lol).
At some point in the cars history it got painted red and some speed equipment put on the engine. When it was "discovered" a few years ago it was in this guise. It was featured in RJ when it was still red. Recently it has been restored to it's original colour and specification. Cheers, Stewart.
Thanks for the story. I saw the Edsel at the LA Auto show a year or so ago. Very odd but nice design.
I read the title and thought this was about an Edsel speedster. the Edsel Ford Speedster looks much better that the Edsel speedster I was invisioning.
