I'm currently working on doing some suspension work on my 67 el camino. The car has a disc brake set up in the front and I believe it has drop spindles. The guy who sold me the car has dropped off and quit taking calls from me since I actually made the purchase. Maybe it has something to do with all of the undisclosed cancer the car has. Anyway. The front tires poke out a little and I want to bring them in about an inch. I'm running American racing 18x8 torq thrust wheels with 5&1/4 back spacing. That pulled them in significantly but they still rub a little in tight left hand turns with a p***enger in the car. I'd like to install some 2 inch rear and 1 inch front drop springs from BMR or some other. I was wondering if anyone had a line on where I can purchase a good set of shortened a arms. Tubular if at all possible. I've called BMR, global west, Detroit speed, etc. pretty much exhausted myself trying to locate what I need. I've got a local friend who says that he can cut my stockers but I think I'd like to hang onto my stock stuff incase I want to ever make it original again. If anyone here has any ideas where I can get a set of a arms or actually knows someone who makes this stuff please let me know. Thank you in advance
Are you sure you got the right web site?,,maybe someone can help but this is after all a traditional site dealing with pre 65 cars & trucks. HRP
