Im trying get my calendar all figured out for the year. Does anybody know a good listing of all the good shows in Colorado and or around colorado. Also is the BO Huff show still going on this year in Sunnyside Utah?
Pick up "The Scoop" magazine at most convenience stores and King Soopers...it covers a five state area of all rod runs, cruises, races, shows, etc...a month's coverage at a time in the spring/summers. Or get the NSRA Schedule published by area NSRA reps... R-
Bo Huff is slated for July 12th & 13th However his cancer has come back with a vengence. Hopefully it is going on still Our Prayers are with him at this time
It's an eight hour road trip from here...East Carbon/Sunnyside are old mining towns...not much there -no motels anyway. Closest motel is in Wellington, about 15 miles away, and Price, about 20 miles. Bo's "museum" is cool...and the actual show and shine is in conjunction with a local town festival (at least it was last time I was out there). The event attracts just about any kind of car you can think of...and the beer flows on Friday nite (at least it did when I was out there...!!!). If I remember correctly, there were two bands on Friday nite and nothing going on Saturday nite. It's a you-shouldn't-miss-it-once show...!!! R-
colorado car shows on facebook has a lot of listings. cruisin dave has a listing, van jeffries has a listing.... Theres a plenty. Be sure to hit wheat ridge lanes some friday night for the best cruise night around and a free burger! Bo's show is INSANE fun! lots of bands, too much weak beer... bring a tent. camping is allowed (was when i was there last) in the park only for his show.
We make the trip every Year We camp on the West side of Sunnyside park The drinking and carousing with other peeps from all over is the Best part the Show is on Saturday, we show up Thursday. Thursday and Friday are spent camping and Drinking Saturday is the family Day.
p.s fastlane, are you the one that just picked up that unibody or the one that sold it? Sharp truck either way
