Looks like a Buick nail head from the port arrangement.

I think it's for a Dodge Hemi from 1953-1954 and was a special one made for the '54 Royal 500 but others have said that they still make them today. Anyone seen one of these? I will try to post some dimensions soon.

So, they are reproducing these now but is there a way to tell if this is an original and is there any chance that this was one that came on one of the 1954 Royal 500 pace cars? That's what I was hoping for when I bought it. Dimensions to come soon.

Nailheads are easy to identify because the flanges set flat on a table. Im going with hemi.

This one in the auction has a number on the bottom "2257" but mine doesn't have a number on it. Mine doesn't have those bosses cast into the top side on the big runner either. Not sure what I'm going to use it on but it was too cool to p*** up. Came with a stromberg aero-quad carb that fits on it too.

    Overall Length x Width = 15.75 x 11.5"
Center to center on the front and rear bolt holes from driver to p*** side is 8.5"
What other dimensions needed to make a positive ID or what website would others recommend to find someone who knows if it's original or if it's from one of the more recent runs that dmarv had them do starting in about '09?
    Thanks,
    Scott

Intakes and valves interchange on low deck Dodges. Put "Hemi Tech Index" in Search, find the Thread & start reading.
