loose the stepside..Ford stepsides look the same from the 50's to the 70's, always looked out of place to ME.. Here is a pic of my buddies old 65 2wd that we lifted a few inches. grainy pic was from about 10 yrs ago, and then a few months back it was on ebay..still looked pretty good, other than it had some ugly *** interior that got put in it...
Congrats on the acquisition of your 63 f100. They are great practical project trucks. I have a 1960 f100 now which ran a 223 in it and it was great unloaded but even that struggle to do good highway speeds. id have to kindly disagree.... look at the cost of finding a crown vic, and replacing all the ball joints,bushings etc. then price a mm2 set up. I went mm2 with bags, and drive it almost every day, and on long road trips.
