  1. Nothing new from me, but Dan and Randy at Midwest Hotrods in Plainfield, Ill have agreed to hang these laser cut pieces of mine in their parts department to augment their selection of automotive art for sale. If you are in the area check them out!

    New guy jumping in...

Starting with some old stuff from when I was the illustrator for AMT/MPC model kits-

And a ‘toon for a bio fuel magazine in regards to last years early spring and then a follow up when late summer drought crushed the expected record yields.

And a couple recent ones done just for fun...

Here are a couple 2 foot dia. saw blades I painted this winter. Ed Roth did the original art on the Swamp Rat. I just got the pleasure of repainting it. Gary

This might not be your typical art but I was happy with how it turned out:

A masterpiece in the making (I think this qualifies as art)... Sean Tucker, Preston Tucker's great-grandson, and Rob Ida (robidaconcepts.com) skillfully recreating the Gyronaut's missing canopy and engine cover lost in its 1970 crash attempting to reclaim the title as the World's Fastest Motorcycle. Look and listen for it at Speed Week 2013!!!

All very cool. "an Ex-Packard" is one that I would love on the wall near my bar!
Nothing against the other types of art because I love all of it, but the hand drawings and paintings are my favorite.
I think it's because I have so little talent in that area and even less vision to plan what's going to happen on the white canvas or paper.

I would have to say that I agree. This is art.

  19. Great stuff everyone. I've been meaning to put this up since Autorama, so here it is. An 11x17 piece with Fast Elvis and Falconstein's cars. Marker, pencils and goache. Working on getting some prints done.

Garyc. love the truck rendering, someone should build that. lockwoodkustoms great photos, but that 40 Ford coupe rusting away liked to killed me. Big Nick 1959 looks like the lady was letting you look at the goods on the motown shaker lettering on her legs. Wow. great work guys.
