I just wanted to say something. Thy are probably aftermarket JC Whittney someone said already. Could have been on your hay trailers or farm truck or your jeep or ?????

Several posters got it right. They are generic, aftermarket, common and were used anywhere and everywhere

 

generic aftermarket. I had a pair once that were brass and polished up beautifully. Primarily made for trucks but could be used for everything.

Won't be attaching them to my panel, but have plans to build a teardrop-trailor.
Thought they might look good on that.
