  3. Hi Guys got my brake booster rebuilt and back in about 8 days.Got it in stalled and bled the entire system.Decide to try and take my 1956 buick station wagon for its 1st test drive since i bought it about 6 months ago.Now the trans still leaks but i want to see if she shifted and just need a gasket kit.Mind you she was in storage for the past 20 years.I chuged down my mountian top drive way and took it down to the local E**on station for gas.Well she shifted well but the ride was a little schey with the 20 year dry rotted tires.lol.After paying for the gas,There were quite a few people around it wanted to know what kind and year it was.I pulled out and was trailing transmissiom fluid like a wounded worrior.lol.The trip was about 5 miles and i was almost home when the water pump started howling and the temp shot up.I made it up our mountian top drive way just as she starting getting hot.I let her cool down for about 3 hours then flushed the entire cooling system but the water pump still was howling.E bay has 1 for about $140. Rock auto just rebuilds then.I am going to see if my local Nappa store can help me .I will keep you all posted. Thanks Bruce.
