In my new search for hard to find parts for 1955 - 59 Chevy Suburbans, what price range should I expect to have to pay for the following items:
Front, middle, and rear seats; the metal headliner trim panels that fit around the fabric headliner = 4 pieces in all, (is also used in the same year panel trucks I believe); both rear 'barn' doors, (also used on the panel trucks); the interior window trim around the sliding side windows = 4 windows in all; gas tank. I have been away from these 'burbs for so long now, and these parts just aren't available very often, that I have no idea what they are worth now, as a buyer. Any & all advice on prices is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This te is great, but when I wanted specific info. on body construction of a '52 GMC Suburban...I discovered this other forum.

    www.stovebolt.com .

Those questions will better be answered on www.stovebolt.com.

Go in the "Forums" tab, selct the section,
"Panels N Burbs" (I think is how they name it), scroll through all the existing topics. Tons of activity on there.

Lots of know it alls of course, but some really helpful advice form people building earlier, and 55-59 Suburbans.
Also contact the guy who runs "Pee Wee's GMC Napco Site"...(at least you can find his site by Googling that phrase I believe).

    Pretty helpful people.
    Good luck.

    Oh - Seats...good luck.
Seen them for sale up to $2200./set back when things were crazy.
Now...likely less in reality, but who knows.
