NW Iowa HAMBers cruise schedule

22nd year of the Tri-State Cruisers Wednesday nite cruise-ins.

 

Always a great turn out at these! The one in Lemars during ice cream days ~ Lemars is the I've cream capital of the world!~ has a huge turn out every year, easily 300 cars. And the one at the end of the year at the north sioux McDonald's is massive and tons of fun!

Hopefully I'll see a few of you at them this year

 

I'm not going to jinx myself by saying I'm going to make one this year but I will say this, I've wanted to do this for the last 4 years. I'll just keep praying that things go well for the next few months.

 

Worse case senairio you do it on foot and get a chili dog. Haha

 

These cruz nights have always been a blast !!! Most are scheduled in the middle of the week so what else have you got to do ???

I was the only person in an old car to show up last week, but to be fair it hailed on the way there and snowed like mad on the way back. 30 or 40 people still showed up to bullshit inside anyways haha

 

Tim, did you drive '46?? It takes alot to get hail dents in one of them!

 

Yup sure did haha

 

When it started hailing, it was pretty small, it echoed in the car and sounded like something sizzling. I freaked out until I realized it was just small hail.

I sat a sbc on the front fender and it didn't even flex I wasn't to concerned about a hail dent happening

 

There is also an open house this Sat. the 20th from 2pm to 5pm at
Everhart Ford in Moville

 

I hope to make it to a couple with the "A" this yr. Our cruise-in in Sibley is on June 8th this yr, same nite as flag fest though. Hope the dang weather straigtens out so we can get the cars out before june this yr.

 

There's the monthly cruise in to the Wendy's in south sioux this Friday, might have to put some chains on if I want to hit that one! Visibility is about a block in town right now

cruise night tomorrow in Ireton!!!!! WOW! There could be 6" of snow on the ground when we wake up!!! LOL. radio said a high of 39*!!! Well it's a good thing we have the cutlass it has a good heater! Yesterday i got the model A out of storage, ran great...no heater.

 

High of 40 something here with no more than an inch expected. This craps getting ridiculous.

Hopefully I'll be at culvers in sxc Monday night, it'll prolly be 80 again by then haha.
Well, if the car has exhaust on it. Doing a quick re arrange before summer actualy... Hopefully shows up and no one likes hearing a stock motor with open pipes but derby guys hah

 

Wed may 8 at WIT in Sioux City.......possible rain, it cant snow can it?

 

it sure tried haha, i think im skipping wednesday night this week and trying to hit the show at the rail road museum sunday at noon on the northside of riverside on hwy 12

 

May 15 were going to try to make it to Brunsville. not sure of the weather.... could snow..it was 106 today.

 

Hit a nursing home parking lot show with the strollers after work. 106 is alot of heat with no trees! Sunday at the rail road show you get into the museum for free and last year they parked a big locamotir on the turn table for you to take pix with your car parked by it and there should be shade for all
