Hi H.A.M.B.ers. I am Dries from Pretoria, South Africa. Being a Mechanical Engineer I am interested in cars from a very young age. Actually I think it is the other way around, liking anything with wheels I became a Mech. Eng. In the early 60's I saw a Hot-Rod for the first time when visiting a friend whose neighbour was building one, if I remember correctly it was '32 3-window coupe. I managed to borrow a T-Tub for my wedding in the 70's and then life happened and I lost contact with the Hot-Rod scene. I came accross your excellent forum and have been following a number of build-threads for some time. You guys do amazing things, I wish to meet some Hambers in South Africa to see what is happening here on the other side of the world.
