Hey all. I'm in the process of shopping for tires for my '59 Galaxie. I've decided to go with a set of Coker Cl***ic WWW bias ply tires. What I'm trying to decide whether I should stick with the stock 14's or go up to a set of 15's.
    Any thoughts? Thanks.

Welcome from So Cal. Personally, I would go with 15s.
You need to go do an intro before the intro police get you and then swing by and check out the 52-59 Ford Group. And then post some pics of your car.

Stock is an 8.00-14 on those, I personally like the look of big 14s, but I'm biased.

Think the wagons might have used an 8.50

Hey mate , i own a 59 Gal sunliner ,running 14" supremes with 205's and 225's skinny WW's for a 60's style and i reckon they help keep it "low" !! but i would say u may get a bigger selection of 15"tyre sizes with WW's , anyway its always up to you , cheers RK57 (ill try to attach a pic- like u i am new here )

Looks nice. Looks like you have the same color interior. I like the grill as well. I hope mine looks that nice one day.

I had the same question on my 61...decided to keep the 14' still tires out there . Walmart has 14" skinny white Good Years for 68 bucks a piece or Coker has plenty of 14" ww tires

IMHO 14's make it look lower...

I'm really leaning towards a set of either g78-14s or L78-15s. I like the look of the '59 they did on Fast-N-Loud, but I cant tell if they used 14s or 15s on it.
