    NOTE TO ALL...

I know you've read about S.A.R. (Steve's Auto Restorations) recently with their dropping production of the 33/34 Three Window Bodies, which is really a shame because Steve believed in 'em, and always gives 100% to everything he does.

If you've seen some of his finished cars, as well as the projects he's working on now, you know he & his staff are true craftsmen.

IN ANY EVENT, though you may have seen his cars & products, you might not have met him in-person, OR, known how it all started for him, so I went into my Audio Archives and pulled out this Interview we did in 2008 when Steve was Inducted into Darryl Starbird's National Rod & Custom Car Hall Of Fame.

How he began with a simple love of cars and restorations...and how he turned that love into one of the Countries most-respected shops, is all covered.

STEVE FRISBIE is one of the nicest guys you'll meet and a true craftsman of the highest caliber...so Just Click-On-Here and listen to his stories of how it all started. This is one Interview you won't want to miss !

My best to all...and thanks for your help & support,

I met Steve in 2004 and he gave me a full on shop tour as I am sure he has done for many other guests and visitors.

He is a great host and he and his team do great work.

May I wish him and his crew all the best as they move into future uncarted waters.

I met Steve and Paula on the road back in the 90's. They had just finished there 1934 Ford Cabriolet and were on the road in Colo. when we met. I had a 1934 Ford Cabriolet at the time and enjoyed talking to him. Didn't know who he was at the time and that he had hand built the car. But remember it was a beauty and a driver. I got to his area one year and visited his shop. By then I was well aware of the quality of work they did. It is always a pleasure to chat with him. Great guy and a craftsman !

Thanks for posting. I have bought a lot of parts from Steve's over the years and it is nothing but top quality stuff! Hope the 3 window can get back into production.

Thanks to you all for your "personal history" comments about Steve !

He is truly a Class Act, and I really enjoyed doing the Interview with him...especially the part where he talks about the quality that comes out of the shop, and actually test driving the cars and making sure they're drivers before they give 'em back to the client. Because they do warranty them...and that's class !!
