Anyone have a machine shop recommendation in the NYC area? Preferably Brooklyn.

    Thanks!

What type of machine shop work, general machining or engine work?

I would contact one of the NYC Rumblers, there's a few on here. They would know the local shops best. I only know the ones out by me.

It's not in Brooklyn, but give the boys at Hollywood Garage in Staten Island a shout. Ask for Vinny, he's a cool cat.

Damn, if it was 30 years ago I could recommend a bunch. I fear they're all gone now.

Lots of places I used are gone.. but then I used to ***emble my own stuff. The shop that did my stock car engine machining is gone.

If LAB Machine in Lindenhurst is still around. Lee was the go-to guy with 6-bangers used in figure-8 cars. G & R in North Babylon is pretty good too.

I'm sure you can find a good place in Brooklyn though.
