Man this is a bummer. I really liked this guy. Never met him, but he was not a great bike builder/fabricator, but hr seemed like one heck of a nice guy. RIP bro. http://www.milwaukeeiron.com/item.asp?ItemID=173&CategoryID=38&SubCategoryID=0&Backlink=No
What the hey....you have any details? I kinda liked that show, at least compared to Orange County Crappers.
I liked him too. He was real genuine and reminded me of the guy who taught me bodywork. His name was Gary too.
Sad. he was the reason I watched that show. Seemed like we all know someone like him, just a regular guy. R.I.P.
Of all the bike builders on all the bike building shows, he was the best! I never got to meet him, but he sure made a lasting impression. Rest in Peace.
Rest in Peace... I really enjoyed him on the show...much better than the other "chopper" soap opera crap. Thanks for posting this. Bill
That is extremely sad. Of the building shows on TV, MI is the only one I'd consider to build something that I would buy. Regular guys, very talented, doing what they love without the stupid shit. RIP Gary.
RIP. He was the coolest one on the show to me. He seemd so real not like he was puttin on a show for the camera.
I sure hated to hear that. When i watched the show he seemed like a real interesting guy. Caught one episode where he was at a steam tractor show and they were telling how that was his hobby rebuilding them/ RIP
Really sad to hear this, had a chance to meet him and tattoo his partner Lee's hands at one of those biker build off things i was tattooing at. RIP, you talented man!!!!!!!
So Long Gary. He was the reason I'd watch. The humility, talent and genuine affection he seem to have for his friends, co-workers, family, and his craft came shining through every time he was on camera. I hope to be half that talented someday and still be as humble as Gary was.
Wow man, you said it. That's exactly how I feel. He came across like someone you already knew, that's not something you can put on for a camera. Definitely a loss to all of us. RIP Gary.
I think he WAS a great bike builder.. maybe not well known, but he's the only guy in their shop that did any sheet metal work and all the other hard stuff of fabricating. that sucks............ i wish he had his own show where they show us how to build... why don't they make a bike show that actually shows building shit instead of drama?
My thoughts exactly. It saddens me to see someone who had such a great outlook on everything taken from us. R.I.P

he seemed to come across like the guy that would help a total stranger just out of the goodness of his heart and a real standup type guy. From what I saw on the show it looks like he lived a carefree life and enjoyed it to its fullest
