PLEASE DON'T TURN IT INTO A RAT ROD!!! And seriously consider keeping the fenders. That can become a sweet Av8 with a little forethought and execution. Frank
For those that don't have the whole story (that's everyone), I pulled that car off a farm in Idaho. Real solid, running car. I would drive my 11 yr old boy around our neighborhood in it. It's pretty much untouched. I think the front tires might even be original! To think I've gone about 45mph in that sucker with 80 yr old front tires.... Cool old coupe. Now it's in greener pastures (on the other side of the world!) in the hands of a hot rodder that will treat it right and have the time/$ to do something with it! I'm excited to see it progress. I don't know where folks got the idea it was going to be rat-rodded, but I highly doubt it's going that direction. I'm confident it will be done right.
