Model B 4-Banger flywheel torque specs

    Looking for tourque specs on model b 4 banger flywheel bolts and bell housing and trans case bolts too. Any body know or have a good link? I could only find the model a flywheel is 65 foot pounds, is the B the same?

    Oh ****!!! There's torque specs?

    To tell you all the truth, HeadBolts is the only torque spec I bother with. And that's pretty much with any car. Just bolt down evenly & clean of debre/obstuctions

    Bolts should have safety wire though.

    65 ft-lbs sounds safe and sane to me. I really have torqued very few in my day though.

  4. Don't forget the 4-holed disc that goes under the flywheel bolts to hold the dowels in.

    Yes, 65 lbs. if using stock or V8 bolts. I don't recommend using Model A bolts as they are old and abused. V8 bolts are much better. If using anything else be sure they are not too long and s****e on the slinger and rear main cap.
