I had the day off so I drove an hour to see my friend Norbert. I hadn't ben to his shop since working there over a year ago. Oh man He is working on some super cool stuff and just have to share my excitement. Of corse I get excited easly as Hotrods are few and far between in this neck of the woods.
Upon walking in I spied the 32 Roadster Project mocked up with a BLOWN rocket motor. But what really blew me away and What I thought would be of intrest to the HAmB is he is making complete repop 29 model A pick-up bodys and beds and frames to set them on. The FAbrication and attention to detail and stoutness of these bodys are sick, operational doors and bracketry and What really got me is that I think I like them more than the real thing more solid and it looks like they played with the proportions a little. Any way I'm sorry if this sounds like a plug but they really are impressive. Norbert said that he sells them over ebay. check them out. here is his web-site

The body / bed / frame package looks good...beats Brookville by a few $$$.

Great pricing. Just think about how much time can be saved not bringing back a $2000 pos one.

  9. Norb does some great work. I got a bed from him for my '37. Real good quality. Best part is he'll put the fender bead anywhere you want it, which is cool for us whop want to go fenderless and center the rear wheel/tire.

He even let me do his logo and business cards for him.
