Could you tell me how to jack up the front of a 55 Thunderbird for a g***er look? 2/3"

Possible to use ball joint spacers?

    Taller springs?

    Thanks for your help, Bob

    from Goshen IN.

I don't think ball joint spacers will raise the car by themselves. But under aceleration they allow the front end to rise a bit higher thus transfering more weight. Taller springs would raise it. Mabey using both would do the trick. Normal Norman

Call Speedway Motors and get one of their straight axle front end kits. I got one for my "57 'Bird and am waiting for time to install it.

  6. spacers are just use to charge the clearance of the upper table/control arm also changers camber and caster, longer coils or coil spacers(the ones that go under the spring) will raise the car if needed also if you install stiffer coils it will ride like a truck.
    let's see some pics
