ok hi. I am starting the thread over because i jacked the last one up ,sorry .this is my car that i cant figure out .I think it's a1923 gray motor coach or sedan. But there are suppussed to be none left.?
it's ok .it does kinda look like a ford tudor but the dash on those ones that look like this are strait accross.and the part where im pointing my finger is different .(this does'nt seem like it should be so hard to find .it must be really rare .and like i said it looks just like the 1923 gray motor coach .?
here is my 27 dodge that looks kinda the same .but the angle of the curve above the cowl is different.
My pictures of a Gray shows a flush cowl to door transition, yours is not a Gray. Looks like a Dodge to me 25+. Need better pictures of the body lines. Lets see the lower cowl lines and the dash.
i am sorry for starting previous threads before i figured the picture thing out.(and now here is the 1923 gray motor coach that most resembles my car.( am i right???please send any photos that are better of what it might be because the internet doesnt seem to have any clear photos of an exact match ,thank you
that would be cool if it was a dodge but again the curve is different in the picture with my finger.(here is a dodge pic
Does or did the body have structural wood? Dodges were all steel. The pic of the Gray is pretty weak evidence since it really shows no detail. BTW a motor coach is a bus. A coach is what they used to call sedans. Whatever it is, it is a coach/sedan
here is a great pic of a 25 dodge.and the 26 and 27's have 3 hinges ,so i don't think it's a dodge but i sure did at first.
no wood ,ok so we know it looks just like a 25 dodge ,so my only problem again is the curve at the top side of the cowl definately doesnt match a 25 dodge.I really am at a loss .But i love these kinda things that need figuring out.
taking lower cowl lines and dash pictures right now .so maybe in about 30 minutes i will have them up (thank you for helping me.
ok here is a 24 overland 4 cylinder and it does look like it so imma gonna spend some time looking at those (i had eliminated those because i was looking at the 6 cylinder ones and they did not match at all.Thank you i will repley to let you know if that's a match
24-25 dodge the cowl thing that has you worried is very similar on a 25 dodge. the one you are comparing to may just be worn down or filled in with body filler or paint from over the years. its a Dodge brothers
i found more picture of the 24 n 25 overland 4 cyl and the decorative line on at the top of the doors follows into the line at the top of the cowl ,so it's close but we are still looking and i have seen the dodges in person and the cowl is definatly different.(much sharper angle.here is the closest one it's a 25 and the bottum of the cowl lines on the dodge come a little more forward.but thank you though.and the pictures of the grays that dont match are 1924 .So again it still could be a 1923 gray coach ?but there are no good pictures.(here is dodge and here is mine in photos[/IMG]
