Over heating

    I'm kinda keeping the head gasket in the back of my mind hoping that's not the problem . I kinda doubt it but you never know . I think there's a high possibility the vacuum advance is screwed . It's all original equippement so good chance the diadem is bad or the line is clogged with crud ..

    From all my experience this fault screams blocked cooling tubes in the radiator - she has clogged the internals and cannot pass enough volume of water through the good cooling tubes and she then overheats and pukes everywhere - My OT 68 Chrysler has just done the same thing - found that 20% of the radiator was unblocked - rodded and cleaned the blocked tubes out and VOILA no more cooling problems. Cheap repair by the way too.

    I just diognosed the vacuum advance is bad does hold any pressure ! Ordered one should have it on tomorow . Ill keep y'all posted

    Well guys turns out my new "radiator" wasn't so new had it cleaned like a lot of you suggested and guess what ? Bitch runs cooler than the other side of the pillow . Thank you all for the quick responses and valuable info . Because of this issue I was having learned a lot about this truck and how shit works .. Thanks again !
