I've got a '58 Chevy wagon that has SOME of the pieces of the original wiper setup (electric). But it's missing some things too. Does anybody have a complete picture of what it looks like all together? Would appreciate it. thx much. Butch.

Thx much! Could be the parts are going to be too hard to come by that I may have to come up with my own system. Think I have an old Ford Escort wiper motor laying around somewhere.....

Yeah that's good.. it's the other side I need to see.. the part with the big loop that operates the passenger's side wiper....thanks! Turns out I need a wiper switch too and they don't reproduce the electric ones anymore.. so the hunt continues.
I agree, doing it right is the best way.. sometimes it's not an option tho'.. Have you tried finding original wiper parts for a '58 Chevy car? I can't find the electric wiper switch anywhere.. the wiper pieces I'm having a tough time finding too. Yes, there is an urgency to wrap this up.. CUZ I WANT IT ON THE ROAD... well at least by end of May... I do appreciate your input and fully agree with it.. This is going to be a daily.. we get a lot of rain here in the NW (Seattle area).. so I need wipers.
I think I have an extra electric wiper switch for your 58 Chevy in all my extra 58 Chevy parts. I will double check and let you know. I may even have the missing parts you need. Ken
