    Just a couple of pix:

My friend Johnny and I picked up the car at the HAMB and eggs breakfast in Livermore on Saturday morning and set out south.

    Late lunch in Paso.
    LA by 9pm.

Sunday morning at the Petersen... they ushered us right into the car show that we had no idea was happening!

    Such a great weekend.

We pulled into the Petersen... and right into a car show! What a great surprise. Crazy mix of cars...

Glad to hear the car behaved well.
It's a clean ride. You should have lots of fun ahead.

Bob, it's a flathead with the stock 3 speed OD transmission. Sailed down the freeway at 65 - 70mph.

Great to meet you too HotRodHon. too much fun!

Gorgeous Ford Joe! What a timeless design they are and I just love that yours is cosmetically stock (not cut-up). As much as I enjoy customs, I certainly see nothing wrong with Henry's design! My brother had one like yours in the 60s and used to take me (his little brother) to school. Even though I'm a Mopar guy, I'm a true "car guy" and appreciate any good design. Yours is spot-on!

Hea Joe, it's good to see you around. Are you working in SD? Christina Jones tells me she keeps in touch with you.

Outstanding exhibit of restraint. That ride in its orig., cleaned up, condition is beautiful. I think the process of less is more is very difficult to achive. So cool the flattie/3spdO.D is still at home and doing its job. The freshest ride I have viewed in some time, congrats on the good taste. Very cool trip as well. Stoked! ~sololobo~

sololobo, not much will be changing with this car...
    The list:
    1. Disk brakes in the front
    2. New interior (tasteful dark red tuck and roll with off white piping and s***ching to match the striping)
    3. Reliability upgrades (re-core the radiator and heater core, new spare... things like that)
    4. Window anti-rattle fixes.

And that is about it.. Wash it, wax it, gas it, drive it!
