This thread never quits to amaze me on what's laying around out there!

 

1. Is the top photo the same as the bottom photo?

2. Is the bottom photo a moving van?

 

I believe the bottom photo is a moving van, been along time since I took these photos, but i'm sure there not the same

 

That's why when I find an old piece of furniture that someone would like to restore, I burn it...just makes the rest of 'em worth more. LOL.

 

I hate to see pictures from crushed cars
they make me sick

 

A couple different shots of those, we couldn't believe the amount of bottles still in the truck box.

 

Sad to think that the fate of those cars was the crusher when alot of the cars in this thread are beyond saving those ones could have been fixed!

They crushed before the auction? WTF?

That happened out my way a few years back, there was a yard with a few hundred cars, it was a private collection and they guy died, so they put it all up for sale, and then told almost nobody about it for some reason... I got my 56 Mercury COE out of there and 12 other cars and trucks that I resold very quickly, then they crushed all of the COE's that were left and all of the 30's-40's cars, then had an auction for the rest and wondered why people were so pissed off... idiots.

 

Check out the white one on the left - it's a '60 Fleetwood Brougham like our friend Nads just bought - one of about 100 made!

Here's my next addition to the thread, these pictures are from another local yard in NW Iowa, been talking with the owner about buying a car out of there but not having a lot of luck, yard has been closed down for years and now he is fighting the local city to stay there........

Here's a success story in the making. My wife bought me this 46 chevy as a welcome home present and I will be rescuing it in about a week after I get back home to Missouri.

 

I would cut off a couple low hangers for one of those and here it sits rotting....

 

Made another trip to the river. Erosion control from the early '70s. You can see more pics in my other thread if you want, I think it's called pics of river cars or something like that. Flathead v8 in the old ford wagon, rocket 8 in the olds, fire dome hemi in the desoto.

 

The pics looked better before I shrunk them, sorry.

 

Obviously their dumb ass plan failed and took all those rad cars with it. What kind of a shitter comes up with that?
