Yea I know, a loaded question. This is a 29 coupe, chopped 2 1/2 inches, body is perfect, has new floors, subrails, no interior, paint is 2 yrs old with a couple minor scratches, recessed firewall, 4 inch kick in floor for rear frame, no glass except has windshield, visor welded in, sliding rag top. thinking of selling it off the frame and doing sedan body. 2nd pic is when it was flat black, it is gloss now.

    Any idea's on value?

    Maybe 10k with a roller frame:eek:
I dont think you would have a problem trading you coupe for a damn nice sedan body with soma cash in your pocjet.

  5. 7-8K that's alot of fabrication work, did you hire it out or do it yourself? that could make a difference per labor hour,i don't think you would have any trouble selling that body if the work done is quality, why switching body styles? need more room??

  6. for a rough body, here in the rustbelt,a clean 5 window builder would go 3-4K
1500-2000 for a rough one needing EVERYTHING..if you can find one:)

  8. i sold a solid 31 coupe body with a title last year for $4250 and it still needed finish body work.
it had all new wood and perfect doors and deck.
i would think that he is in the $7-9 thousand range seeing that a paint job is $3-5 thousand on its own.

  9. You'd rather have a sedan than a coupe? Wow.

It might be that he has an extra passenger that he didn't have when he started the coupe body.

I don't think somewhere around 7 k asking price for that body sitting on a pallet would be out of line. You might even find someone who will offer a pretty nice sedan body and serious cash difference for the coupe body.

You can fit two suitcases, two beer coolers, two chairs, and an EZ-Up in a sedan. Of course, you just need to add a destination.:D

If you go for a trade and you don't end up with cash to boot the sedan better be perfect.

I am just thinking about it. I do need the room of the sedan, but i really like to coupe look.

I did the patch panels, paid for body work and the chop, so i have prob 6-7k into it which is cheap i think.

Prob should just leave it alone and get my 37 sedan done and have both!
