Someone just suggested RWI might stand for Rocket Wheel Industries ???
    Sound feasible ???

    Langy,
I'm thinking Fenton Gyros-- Notice how the flat lugnut surface is slightly depressed below the curved slots?

Here are some other Gyros for comparison:

Whereas these Ansen Sprints have the flat lugnut mounting surface slightly raised _above_ the surrounding slots.

Although my theory doesn't address the uni-lugs or the countersunk lugnut holes on your wheel...

  7. Is that the makings of a six lug pattern rough cast in the back side too?

Many slot wheels were cast by Rockwell in the '70s IIRC - I can't help but wonder if that's what the RWI is. I don't think many Rocket wheels were actually made in USA after mid '60s. Curious to see if a definitive answer pops up.

From what I know RWI..is Rocket...my 1968 Bell Auto Parts catalog is already showing slot mags though they were Ansen..

Western's dipped in like that but the back side was different, I have also seen Ansen's that were depressed as well. I think these are Rocket, this is the backside of a set of Rocket's and it looks the same

I had a set of 4 15x8 5on 5.5 I looked them up and I found from what I read that there were made in Germany not sure of the year. But RWI meant Revolutionary Wheel Industries. I had a barn fire in 2016 and lost them. Can't seem to find any like them anywhere.

Hi Wayne...Welcome to the Hamb...While there's nothing wrong with responding to an older thread when the Members Avatar says Member Emeritus as The Late Hamber Langy's does they are deceased and no longer with us...Just letting you know...and perhaps your input will help someone else...
