pretty much new to the H.A.M.B. i need help IDing a motor

    pretty much new to the H.A.M.B. joined awail ago but never got on it im from Tucson az and currently building a 29 ford roadster im still young just getting into the hotrod/ratrod scene and i need help IDing a motor my best guess was a 67 327 chevy vett here are some pictures of the block

  2. Be easier if you didn't stand on your head to take the pictures :)
    If the suffix on the stamp is "er" like it appears to me- that would be a 67 327 special high performance 325 horse engine. Born in a Chevelle with a 4 speed and hd clutch.

    There are 9 of the EB applications
    55 truck 265
    57-61 impala 284 turboglide trans 4bbl carb
    66-67 chevelle 327 275hp manual trans
    65 chevelle 327 300hp 4bbl

    The 3892657 casting number was used in 66-67 so that narrows it down.
    Look at the date casting on the back of the block just outside the oil sender hole
